AEW 819K, NXT 669K

March 26, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

All Elite Wrestling on TNT drew 819,000 viewers which was an improvement of about 53,000 viewers.  NXT returned to live (or tape-delayed) action but fell off from last week to 669,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

Both shows aired without fans due to the continued Coronavirus pandemic.  It has required each company to postpone or amend their live venues.  Notably, WWE has decided to air Wrestlemania on 2 nights but is going to show it on tape delay.

Ratings per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily

Payout Perspective:

We are still seeing a decline in viewership for NXT on the USA Network as it has been in a slow descent since the beginning of February. AEW has been hit hard without a live audience as both companies are still trying to bring live content despite these uncertain times.
