Showtime Boxing draws 361K for Gary Russell, Jr. feature

February 11, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Showtime Boxing Saturday night scored 361,000 viewers for the featured bout between Gary Russell, Jr and Tugstogt Nyambayar.

The undercard bout featured Guillermo Rigondeaux as he returned to the ring with a victory over Liborio Solis.  The fight drew 312,000 viewers.

The fight between Jaime Arboleda and Jayson Velez drew 277,000 viewers.  Arboleda defeated Velez via split decision in a battle of super featherweights.

Payout Perspective:

On a night when the  UFC dominated the night with the return of Jon Jones, the 361,000 viewers is very good considering the feature saw a returning Gary Russell, Jr.  Also, Guuillermo Rigondeaux is still a viable name as he showed well in defeating Solis.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
