Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman got into a verbal confrontation at Super Bowl radio row on Wednesday.

The welterweights were a part of the media glut of this week prior to the Super Bowl this Sunday.  Usman, the UFC welterweight champion, is coming off a successful title defense of Colby Covington at UFC 245 this past December.

Masvidal, the UFC-branded “BMF” champion defeated Nate Diaz at UFC 244.

The two welterweights have been circling each other in a division that now includes Conor McGregor.  Neither athlete has a fight scheduled although one against each other would seem like the easy choice.

Payout Perspective:

While dustups on radio row during the Super Bowl are not unheard of, this pull-apart seems warranted and wanted by the UFC.  No blows were thrown and no property was damaged.  But, it got the media talking and while each probably is looking for a Conor McGregor payday, a fight for the championship seems natural.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
