Top Rank Boxing on ESPN draws 388,000 viewers Saturday night

Top Rank Boxing on ESPN Saturday night drew 388,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The event went up against the NFL Playoffs on Saturday night.

The event from Atlantic City, New Jersey featured Joe Smith, Jr. as he faced Jesse Hart.  Smith, Jr. won a split decision.

During the fight, a massive brawl broke out.  Fortunately, security was able to pull apart the combatants.

This past November, Top Rank Boxing on ESPN drew 635,000 viewers.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings are decent considering it went up against the Titans-Ravens NFL Playoff game.  The viewership shows that there is still a dedicated audience that will watch boxing despite bigger sporting events on elsewhere.
