UFC on ESPN 7 took place on Saturday night in Washington, D.C. Bryce Mitchell’s “twister” was a guarantee for one of the night’s bonuses.
The event drew 10,816 fans for a total gate of $932,593.20. The event took place at Capital One Arena in D.C.
The bonuses went to Bryce Mitchell, Makhmud Muradov, Rob Font and Ricky Simon. Each drew $50,000 bonuses. Mitchell and Muradov earned Performance of the Night bonuses and Font and Simon drew Fight of the Night. Font earned the win between the two bantamweights.
Payout Perspective:
It was a good night of fights with some interesting finishes including the second twister ever in the UFC and the main event stoppage by up and coming heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
