During the UFC 236 PPV broadcast, it was announced that Rich “Ace” Franklin was named to the UFC Hall of Fame Class of 2019. He will be inducted into the Pioneer Era wing this July 5th in Las Vegas.
The Pioneers category includes athletes who turned professional before November 17, 2000 (when the unified rules of mixed martial arts were adopted), are a minimum age of 35, or have been retired for one year or more.
Franklin earned a 29-7, 1 NC professional record and a 14-6 UFC record.
Currently, Franklin serves as an executive for ONE Championship.
