Replay of Bellator’s second PPV draws 600K on SpikeTV

August 2, 2017 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

A replay of Bellator: NYC on Spike TV drew 539,000 viewers per Nielsen.  The PPV in late June increased to 600,000 viewers and peaked at 934,000 in DVR +3 adjusted ratings.

Bellator: NYC featured Chael Sonnen-Wanderlei Silva in the main event.  It also featured the return of Fedor against Matt Mitrione.  The 150-minute re-air drew 0.18 in the A18-49 demo.

Payout Perspective:

I thought that this was airing Saturday night to oppose UFC 214, but it made sense to air Friday night.  The ratings are similar to a Bellator live event on Friday night.

Didn't know this was a thing but delighted it is.

Conor McGregor is a horrible, despicable rapist wanker and he should be the shame of Ireland. Well done The Burren

Maybe they should just call it the Ariel Helwani award and give it to other MMA journalists?
