Adjusted UFC on Fox 25 ratings: 2.046M, Prelims draw 1.137M

July 25, 2017 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on Fox 25 drew 2.046 million viewers in adjusted overnight ratings to include the overrun per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The UFC Prelims which preceded the main card on Fox drew 1.137 million viewers.

UPDATED: According to Nielsen, Fox was the #1 network in all of television Saturday night among A18-49 from 8-10:30pm.  The peak was at 2.714 million from 10:00-10:30pm ET.

The main card featuring Chris Weidman’s victory over Kelvin Gastelum drew 924,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.  The prelims drew 468,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.

The adjusted ratings bests UFC on Fox 24’s low of 1.996 million viewers earlier this year.

The UFC on Fox 24 prelims drew 1.105M viewers.  The UFC on Fox 23 prelims aired on FS1 and drew 619,000 viewers.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings were a disappointment but with the adjusted ratings, it was able to creep over 2 million viewers as many tuned in for the main event.  The Prelims did slightly better than this spring’s UFC on Fox 24 which shows that the Prelims on the network do much better as a lead-in to the main card.
