TUF 24 Episode 2 draws 347,000 viewers

September 8, 2016 by Jason Cruz 1 Comment

TUF 24 Episode 2 drew 347,000 viewers on FS1 Wednesday night per Sports TV Ratings.

The second episode featuring the flyweight fighters saw a decrease from last week’s debut.  However, per Sports TV Ratings, the ratings were up slightly in the adult 18-49 demo.

In the fight of the show Hiromasa Ogikubo defeated Nkazimulo Zulu via submission.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings are down from last fall’s TUF 22 which registered 463,000 viewers.  Last season drew 387,000 viewers for its episode 2.  It appears that this season featuring coaches Henry Cejudo and Joseph Benavidez may slump to new lows in live viewing.  However, it may see a DVR boost for those that are recording the show.

seems like the norm, this represents the die hard fan who will watch TUF, UFC Fight Night, UFC on FOX, UFC on Fight Pass, and UFC PPVs without fail. not a bad marketing job by the UFC to nail an “at least” audience that numbers anywhere from 300-500 viewers it can count on no matter what.
