In comparison, Bellator 139 this past summer drew 764,000 viewers which represented a 52% decrease from the Bellator 138 tentpole event which featured Ken Shamrock taking on Kimbo Slice. Decent numbers for a combat sport. Huge drop in numbers from the Kimbo-Dada card. Bellator can draw bigger numbers than the UFC but it has to have a niche, a gimmick, etc etc. Bellator has proven you dont have to have the best fights for ratings, you just have to have the biggest names and the best promotion.
