UFC offers Fight Pass deal as part of Cyber Monday

November 28, 2014 by Jason Cruz 6 Comments

UFC Fight Pass is offering a Cyber Monday deal which began Friday and ends on Monday, December 1st.  It’s offering UFC Fight Pass for $6.99 per month and a free one-year subscription of UFC: The Official Magazine.

UFC had previous offers for its digital network for $7.99 plus the 1 year magazine subscription as recent as October 30th – the same day that the WWE Network nixed its 6 month commitment and offered November for free.  It normally is offered at $9.99 per month or $8.99 for 6 months with a 6 month commitment.

Payout Perspective:

The Fight Pass deal is a great opportunity for those that have been holding out.  With signing up, I’m told you are charged immediately for the year.  It will renew automatically after the year is up, and most likely a higher rate.  So, if you intend to cancel after a year, you should probably mark it on your calendar.  Frankly, I have had problems with Fight Pass as I did one of those 7 day free trials and still had my credit card charged even though I cancelled on day 5.  The deal is one of many for the holidays.   Certainly, this should boost the subscriber numbers going into 2015 as well as revenue for the platform.
