TUF 19 Episode 9 Graph

This week’s fight was a forgettable one in which Matt Van Buren defeated Chris Fields.

White expressed his dismay with all of the fighters as he intimated that this season’s fights have been boring.

Payout Perspective:

A couple things that can hurt a TUF season is the lack of personality in the house and the lack of quality fights on the show.  Unfortunately, we are getting both this season.  Just like this week’s fight, this week’s episode was forgettable and you can tell that White is upset by this.  Usually he talks to the semi-finalists about who they want to fight but this time around we just saw clips of the interviews.  I really cannot explain the uptick in the viewership of the replay.

Honesty these numbers arent bad for a reality show. 24/7 shows on HBO get about 300k now a days. Reality shows are not draws.

    In 2009 averaged 3.1M viewers? 5 years later… 463K on FS1.

That doesn’t look like growth to me.

Somebody explain to me how the UFC is growing in the US with these numbers.

If it was just Bellator, the same hypocrites would be saying down down down with Bellator,it is crap UFC all the way.Nobody likes a winner, why ?who knows .You can’t predict good fights in the TUF series,it just happens, the right mix of fighters, personalities.I wish they had more fights on TV, some of us just can’t attend or get the ppv.Maybe some amature UFC and Bellator fight on TV.
