MMA Payout has learned from a Nielsen source that Wednesday’s 12th episode of TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia received an overnight rating of 198,000 viewers.  Wednesday’s episode was down 25% from the week prior.

TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia

Episode 1:  371,000 viewers

Episode 2:  253,000 viewers

Episode 3:  107,000 viewers – FS2

Episode 4:  384,000 viewers

Episode 5: 187,000 viewers

Episode 6: 78,000 viewers – FS2

Episode 7: 161,000 viewers

Episode 8:  202,000 viewers

Episode 9:  220,000 viewers

Episode 10: 195,000 viewers

Episode 11:  267,000 viewers

Episode 12: 198,000 viewers

Television By Numbers reports that The Big Bang Theory (10pm ET) on TBS was the top-rated cable show on Wednesday drawing 2.79 million viewers.

Payout Perspective:

Episode 12 featured my personal favorite part of the TUF seasons: the coaches’ challenge.  The average for the series with one episode left is 218,583.  This includes two episodes which aired on FS2 due to conflicts.  Viewership has fluctuated from week to week so we will see if the finale ends with a better number than this week.

You’ve been stating that for over two years now. Can’t wait to see you state it again next year. And the next year… and the next year… and the next year…

I hope it’s doing better in Australia and Canada. Do we have any idea of the ratings to the north and south?

As usual with this FOX deal, it has been really bad exposure for the UFC being stuck on these ever-changing crappy channels nobody cares about, those are Bellator MTV2 numbers & on the decline. PPV numbers declining, people not very happy with its new digital platform, not looking good at all.
