MMA Junkie reports the fight bonuses and attendance for UFC Fight Night 34. It was the first fight that was streamed on the UFC Fight Pass.
Max Holloway, Russell Doane, Tarec Saffedine and Hyun Gyu Lim each earned $50,000 for their performances.

In addition, the UFC announced attendance of 5,216 which took place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. No gate was announced.
Payout Perspective:
How many people watched the fights live via Fight Pass? It will be an interesting thing to gage as well as how the technology does with the ebbs and flows of people logging in. Unfortunately, I have not been able to sign up for Fight Pass after multiple attempts. The main event did seem like a fight that many people with Fight Pass access will want to check out if they did not do so live.
Its not clear whether the attendance figures were expected. The last four Fight Nights (excluding UFC FN 31, Fight for the Troops) have averaged over 10,700 in attendance. However, we do not know the configurations for the arena for Fight Night although its web site states the seating capacity is 11,000.
I believe the capacity is 11K but it was scaled for about 6K, so they called it a “sell out”.

These Fight Pass events will be very interesting to follow. It’s UFC’s most interesting strategic gamble in 2014.
How many sporting organizations run an operation as global as UFC does now? 50 events. An event almost every week somewhere on the planet.
Formula1 is a true global sport.
Men’s and Women’s tennis – ATP and WTA tours.
Golf mostly has continental and country based tours. PGA Tour for US, European Tour for Europe, Japan Tour for Japan, etc,
WWE tours much of the world, but mostly for house shows. They film an episode or two in England, but that’s about it.
No team sports league runs a global operation. The big soccer teams, like ManU and Barcelona, tour the world playing friendlies in the off season, but that’s different.
There’s nothing quite like what UFC is doing. It’s extremely ambitious. Which makes it interesting.
Fighter contract don’t change based on the event they fight on. Also the OTN bonus was the base 50,000 like other events.
3 fighters on the card has officially reported pays from previous UFC fights. Gyu Lim 10,00/10,000, Max Holloway 14,000/14,000, Dustin Kimura 8,000/8,000. That will likely be their pay for this event.
Was dw present during the Singapore event?

I know DFW can’t make it to every event, but Mark Fischer should be avoided as the face of the UFC suits at all costs. I’m guessing he has pretty good business acumen, given his resume and position (or did he simply witness DFW and the Fertittas burying bodies in the desert like Mike Goldberg?), but he makes Gegard Mousasi look like a ball of charismatic dynamite in comparison. I agree AK. When you see these other guys up front during a UFC or interview. You really start to appreciate Dana White. The personality and passion for the sport. He lets you know he is there and you get answers. These others guys talk for an hour and never say anything. You also cant tell what they represent. Are they selling fights or are they door to door bible salesmen? Just run of the mill suits. Its makes the press conferences uneventful. I dread the day the UFC doesn’t have Dana up front!
I wouldn’t go that far in praise of DFW. It’s so retarded how he feels the need to drop F and S-bombs in every informal setting and his word mean very little. “Marquardt’s never fighting in the UFC again.” “Barnett will never fight in the UFC again.” “We will never do business with EA Sports after that.” He even said a little while ago when it was revealed that a Brock-Fedor match was in the works for Cowboy Stadium last year, in which he was called out for lying about it at the time — “So what if I lied? I don’t have to tell you guys everything.”
How can we trust him after something like that, in which he admitted he lies (with great, great conviction) when it suits him? Passion is great, but like Rogan (so damn biased), I wouldn’t mind seeing a replacement.
