The Wrestling Observer (subscription required) reports that Bellator MMA Live (90) received 737,000 viewers and received 473,000 viewers for its replay. As TWO reports, the replay was up substantially due to word of the King Mo KO.

Bellator’s lead-in, TNA Wrestling, scored an average of 1.352 million viewers for a 0.4 viewer rating according to Television By Numbers.

Bellator 86: 812,000 viewers
Bellator 87: 705,000 viewers
Bellator 88: 807,000 viewers
Bellator 89: 719,000 viewers

The numbers are up from last week due to King Mo…and the replay was up because of King Mo’s knockout. The ratings confirm that King Mo is a draw for Bellator but with his surprising knockout loss does it hurt the company and its ratings for the Light Heavyweight Final? The replay numbers are up from 313,000 last week which shows that many people heard or read the results and wanted to see King Mo.
Not sure how you come to the conclusion Mo was a draw. This was the 3rd worst ratings yet. The replay did well but it shows people didn’t know or care he was fighting but was interested in a big upset, Mo losing, or see a highlight reel KO. Nothing IMO points to Mo being a draw. In fact since he was on this card I expected it to break 800k minimum. In fact if Bellator or Mo had any kind of success they should have been able to build apon that 800k. 737k is a real surprise IMO.

This is not correct, per what I know. An All Access show aired immediately after the event and it did well ratings-wise. But I’ve heard no mention of the 1:00 AM event replay’s ratings.
Actually, just looked it up and confirmed that the 473K viewership was not for the replay.
737,000 is not bad, though, in my opinion. That’s around where I projected their live events. My guess is that SPIKE is likely pleased with the viewership for a 10:00 PM timeslot.
I don’t know what their goal is for ratings, but this show scarcely drawing better than their lowest rated card, it’s hard to conclude that Mo is a big draw.
WHere is Sampson to tell us how shitty these ratings are? Oh wait, these are Bellators ratings, he only shows up to say how bad the UFC ratings are.
The ratings seem pretty good at first. But there are two big problems:
#1. They lost nearly half of the audience from the pro-wrestling show that preceded it.
#2. The ratings are trending downward. The first three shows averaged 818,000 viewers and the last three averaged 754,000 viewers. And three of the last four have done 737,000 viewers or less.
