Payout Perspective:
The payouts give a glimpse into the salaries earned by non-UFC fighters. WSOF had a very good debut card. Sure, there were obvious mismatches (e.g. Spong/Bartlett, Johnson/Linderman) but there was enough name recognition of former UFC stars that it probably drew a good rating on Saturday night. RFA is only a year old so we will see how it will do. It would be interesting to know what each of the respective investors think of the prospects of MMA organizations and their return on the investment.
It’s interesting to see Marcio Cruz on such a low level event drawing such little cash. He made less than household names such as Steve Carl and David Branch.
