Bellator 43 ratings: 182,000 viewers

May 11, 2011 by Jason Cruz 2 Comments

MMA Junkie reports Bellator 43 ratings decreased in ratings from its prior week to 182,000 viewers. The replay drew 152,000 viewers.

Bellator 43 featured the finale of the welterweight tournament with Jay Hieron beating Rick Hawn.

Payout Perspective:

Not bad considering Bellator went up against the Pacquiao fight. Still, the fight started around midnight so some people had the chance to watch Bellator and then cross over to see Pac-Mosley.

I was switching back and forth. The boxing undercard was solid for once. It looks like Bellator is stabilizing at just under 200k buys. I wonder if that’s enough to sustain them. Does anyone know what they are getting from MTV per show?

    0 buys for Bellator Diego:)

MTV2 must be happy with the ratings, as they tend to pull over 300,000 total viewers between the event and the replay. For all the complaining I’ve heard about Bellator events not being broadcast live in certain areas, the replays sure seem to do well.
