Volkmann interview gets him on Jay Leno

January 9, 2011 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

A couple days ago, we reported on Jacob Volkmann’s comments critical of President Obama’s health care initiative after his fight at UFC 125. He was visited by the Secret Service as he said “someone should knock some sense” into the President.

Volkmann’s interview had legs, as it appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno…but with some comical editing.

Payout Perspective:

Despite the revisionist editing, Volkmann can tell everyone that he made it on The Tonight Show. While saying outrageous things may get you attention, it might not always be good attention. In this case, Volkmann probably did not intend his comments to go this far, but its an extreme example of what happens when you say the wrong things in an interview. Hopefully, none of his sponsors saw Volkmann’s comments (or the revised video) as detrimental to its brand otherwise he could lose sponsors.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
