UFC 112: Gate and Attendance

April 12, 2010 by Kelsey Philpott Leave a Comment

Dana White confirmed at the UFC 112 post-fight press conference that the attendance for Saturday’s show on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE drew 11,008 fans and produced a live gate of $3.5 million USD. The size of the gate is notable, because it eclipses UFC 85 as the largest non-North American gate in the company’s history. However, may not take into account the comp rate for the show, which could have been sizable.

White also revealed the night’s fighter bonuses:

Fight of the Night: Mark Munoz vs. Kendall Grove ($75,000 each)
Knockout of the Night: Damarques Johnson ($75,000)
Submission of the Night: Rafael dos Anjos ($75,000)

The us number for the McGregor show was 6.1. Milllion. White House show was 7 million. Rousey fight was just over 9. But Netflix has a big advantage in homes.
