I guess it was more expensive to sponsor the guy who is going to win the fight in the first round by KO.

Seriously what could sponsing Gabriel Gonazaga do for a company? The dudes no good, nobody really knows him, why not just sponsor some homeless guy on Ventura Blvd. It really is the same thing.

It’s all about exposure: Their logo / brand will be featured on TV, internet, print media etc. because of this which equals brand exposure which is what it’s all about! It makes perfect sense.

I think Gonzaga is very good. BUt he is mentally weak and not very tough. The UFC could give him oppoenents he tears ups if they wanted. Even name guys. But he isnt very good verses some styles and fighters. Due to that limitation they are feeding him to the next big think while Gabe still has a name. Dos has to much power and to much reach for Gabe. HE will surely land first and lay hands on Gabe which Gabe has shown he dont like very well. Gabe isnt a good enough wrestler to take Dos down who looks built to stop takedowns.
