MMA Connected Talks Ontario

March 8, 2010 by Kelsey Philpott 1 Comment

Joe Ferraro of MMA Connected sits down with the UFC’s provincial lobbying firm Cassels Brock to discuss the process of legalizing mixed martial arts in Ontario.

Payout Perspective:

The UFC is doing just about everything it can to get mixed martial arts legalized in Ontario: bringing events to other provinces and states, hiring two lobbying firms, and providing the decision makers with all the information they need to educate themselves.

The fight has simply become a game of persistence and patience.

Note: anyone looking to help can sign this petition here that Ferraro plans to personally deliver to the Premier should it reach the requisite number of signatures. I’m told there’s still a ways to go.
