Countdown to UFC 110: 635,000 Viewers

February 19, 2010 by Kelsey Philpott 5 Comments

MMAPayout.com has learned that Countdown to UFC 110 drew 635,000 viewers in its debut last night on Spike TV. The program enjoyed a sizable lead-in as it was placed in the time slot immediately following pro wrestling’s TNA: Impact.

Countdown to UFC 109 enjoyed a similar lead-in – following the UFC 107 replay on January 31st – and Spike will be looking to pair Countdown shows with similar demographic lead-ins in the future.

The Countdown is also streaming free on ufc.com with no commercial interruptions which is how i watched it. I wonder how many views that has gotten.

The UFC put the Countdown show online a couple of days before it aired and showed it on Versus a day earlier. I wonder what effect that had on ratings.

I wish they would air it at the same time leading up to the PPV. Before one PPV it will air for the first time on a Monday. Next PPV it will air for the first time on a Tuesday. This time it was a Thursday. I just wish they would find a night and stick with it. That way every week leading up to a PPV I know what night I can count on watching it.

I watched the countdown on T101HD channel on Direct TV. There are so many ways to see this program now I wonder if the Spike numbers are still reliable.

Dana White is such a MAGA stooge. He runs around every podcast talking about how he’s “not political” and how Donald Trump is “just his friend,” all while asking that same friend to help him write off more gambling losses and throwing him a UFC fight in front of the White House

New: UFC President Dana White has sent a letter to President Donald Trump asking him to help reverse the 90 percent limit on gambling loss deductions for US taxpayers that became law last year.

The issue has been a concern for both bettors and the gambling industry itself.
