Payout Perspective:

The UFC Prelims provided some very good action but a lot of names we did not know and thus it was one of the reasons it likely fell to Bellator.  The prelims did feature the Fight of the Night as well as a submission and an ear almost falling off (Leslie Smith).  UFC 180 did improve upon prelim rating for UFC 179.  The current average of UFC Prelims for 2014 is at 699,000.
