Rampage signs exclusive deal with MMA Elite

April 19, 2011 by Jason Cruz 2 Comments

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has signed an exclusive sponsorship deal with MMA Elite to wear its products for open workouts, weigh-ins and walk outs to the Octagon.

Details of the deal were not disclosed although a source indicated that the deal “was lucrative for both parties.”

MMA Elite is a fighting and lifestyle clothing brand owned by Ultimate Brand Management (UBM). MMA Elite is just one of the clothing entities that UBM owns. UBM is an “official partner” of the UFC.

Payout Perspective:

This should be a good deal for both sides as Jackson gets an exclusive sponsorship deal and MMA Elite gets a top of the card PPV draw. Jackson could be back in the light heavyweight title picture if he could defeat Matt Hammill in May. If that occurs, Jackson could set up a huge PPV if he fights Jon Jones or a rematch with Rashad Evans.
