Report: UFC 235 initial estimates between 520K-650K based on last-minute buys

The Wrestling Observer reports that UFC 235 initial estimates have Saturday night’s PPV in a range between 520,000 to 650,000 buys. UFC 235 PPV Prelims score 1.480M viewers

The UFC 235 Prelims aired Saturday on ESPN and drew one of the highest-rated telecasts in promotion history.  The telecast drew 1.480M viewers and another 815,000 in the A18-49 demo according to Nielsen. I don’t disagree with the criticism of the quality of the fights here but the amount of time spent rehashing old comments from Rousey & Carano in a sport where open bigots, accused rapist & friends of war criminals & cartel bosses regularly get top billing seems overboard.
