UFC 332 took place Saturday night at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. According to Dana White at the post-fight press conference the event the event drew 16,492 fans with a live gate of $2,707,768.
It was the first time back in Utah since UFC 307 which drew 17,487 and a gate of $5,005,643. That card, UFC 307, featured Alex Pereira taking on Khalil Rountree in defense of the UFC Light Heavyweight title. It also saw Juliana Pena defeat Raquel Pennington for the UFC’s Bantamweight title.
Prior to that, UFC 291 in July 2023 at the Delta Center drew 18,467 for a gate of $6,556,443.97
Clearly, Saturday’s numbered-event was a precipitous decrease from the previous UFC-numbered events. Yet, no one is talking about it. Sure, the actual fights were good, but the $3M decrease between events reflects the lack of notable fights and current state of MMA.
