ESPN and The Ring Magazine confirm that former Olympian Shakur Stevenson has signed with Zuffa Boxing.
Stevenson is the WBO and The Ring Magazine junior welterweight champion. The 29-year-old is coming off of a dominant performance against Teofimo Lopez this past January.

The signing could set up a showdown with Devin Haney who is expected to sign with Dana White’s upstart promotion. Stevenson landing with Zuffa Boxing provides further credibility to a league that is preparing to hold its first U.S. event outside of the United States.
