The UFC announced on Tuesday, that the promotion will return to Baku, Azerbaijan on June 27th. The announcement comes as part of a multi-year deal through 2028.
The promotion held an event in June 2025 featured two Americans on top of the card as Khalil Rountree, Jr. defeated Jamahal Hill.
The announcement comes at a time where there is geopolitical unrest in the region (i.e., the US war with Iran) which may make the return to Azerbaijan seem tenuous.
