Tyson Fury returns in April on Netflix

January 28, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Former boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury returns to the ring with a fight against Arslan Makhmudov on April 11th on Netflix.

The 37-year-old claimed to have retired last year after two losses to Oleksandr Usyk. But, as with everyone in combat sports, no one ever really retires.

The Ring will be promoting this fight as Fury returns. While no venue has been announced, Turki Alalshikh indicated via press release that the fight will be in the United Kingdom. Thus, a home fight for the “Gypsy King.”

Interesting - in the early 2000s, HBO had to defend "de facto" promoter allegations in front of Congress. If DAZN uses licensed promoters to organize the fights, it's hard to call them a "promoter." SRL signed deals with ABC and HBO without having a promoter, so it's been done.
