December 23, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Friday’s fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua drew 33 million global viewers according to Netflix.

Paul was stopped in the 6th round of their fight. Despite the loss, Paul brought in another huge audience. The event was the network’s No. 1-ranked program in45 countries including the U.S., U.K, Canada, Germany, Australia, Mexico, and Argentina.

In comparison, September’s fight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford drew 41.5 million viewers.

The actual fight was nothing to rewatch as most of the action occurred in the 6th round when Paul was knocked out. Despite the loss, the viewership reflects the fact that the Paul hype machine will continue.
