UFC held its very first show in Qatar on Saturday at the ABHA Arena in Doha. The promotion gave out 4 Performance bonuses.
Kyoji Horiguchi returned to the UFC with a phenomenal performance as he submitted Tagir Ulanbekov in the third round of their flyweight matchup. With the performance he earned $50K and returns to contention talk amongst flyweights.
Waldo Cortes-Acosta was a last-minute replacement and earned a $50K bonus. In his 5th fight this year WCA picked up a 2nd round KO of Ante Delija. In his post-fight interview, he proclaimed he wanted to fight on the December 13th UFC card making it 6 fights in 2025. We’ll see.
Luke Riley earned a $50K bonus with his stoppage of Bogdan Grad in the second round of their fight. In his UFC debut, the teammate of Paddy Pimblett came back from a bad first round to stop Grad in round 2.
Arman Tsarukyan earned a $50K bonus with a dominant victory over Dan Hooker. Tsarukyan used a head and arm choke to submit Hooker and make a case for him to get the next title shot at 155 pounds.
