Paramount+ to raise sub prices in January

November 11, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Paramount+ announced the increase of its subscriptions starting in early 2026 when the UFC comes on board. The two tiers of Paramount+ (with ads and ad-free) will increase by $1 starting January 15.

The current $7.99 per month will increase to $8.99 and the $12.99 per month will increase to $13.99.

This past August, Paramount paid 7 years, $7.7 billion for the domestic rights to the UFC. A month later it added Zuffa Boxing in addition to international markets for the UFC.

The new cost for Paramount+ still reflects a substantially cheaper alternative than the current plan for UFC fans. The ESPN+ digital platform starts at $11.99 and charges $79.99 per PPV. UFC Fight Cards on the digital platform do not carry an additional fee.

During its Q3 earnings call, it announced price hikes are also set for Canada and Australia to support “continued investment” in the platform.

They did this for Khabib in his last fight

hayjive @hayjivepicks

Never seen such blatant corruption at a championship weigh in. Khamzat is one of the last to the scales and it takes all of 3 seconds for commission to shout “185” he doesn’t touch the scale at all, scale doesn’t even settle. Just gives him the weight. Insanity…

It is comical the UFC can be the most political sports organization in the history of American sports for clear aims (Ali Act, WH event) while promoting a candidate w/ the most extreme agenda in 50 years and when called to task for that help, pretend they're helpless observers.

Ali Wong's ex-husband got off easier than Russini's current husband.

Now that this Vrabel-Russini thing is full blown, will DC chill tomorrow on the #UFC weigh-in show with Sanko or no
