October 31, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Boxer Gervonta Davis has been sued in Miami Dade County civil court by his ex-girlfriend for battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Davis is scheduled to fight Jake Paul in an exhibition in Atlanta, Georgia on Netflix next month.

Davis was sued by a different ex-girlfriend earlier this year, but those charges were dropped.

The lawsuit details that the two met in 2022 and went out for five months. The lawsuit alleges that Davis on multiple occasions had gone to her work at a strip club where she was working as a waitress. In one instance, he had choked her in a backroom with no cameras. In another instance he dragged her out of work into a parking garage where “Davis continuously grabbed, choked, pushed, pulled, and struck Rossel in the back of the head.”

The complaint also claims Davis threatened to kill her accusing her of cheating on him.

Davis has yet to respond to the allegations of the lawsuit which was filed on October 30th.
