CSAC to discuss Ali Act at Wednesday’s meeting

October 14, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The California State Athletic Commission is set to hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday October 15th. The agenda lists a discussion and possible action on the Muhammad Ali American Boxing Revival Act.

MMAFA which spearheaded the Cung Le lawsuit among the other antitrust lawsuits seeking money for fights took to X calling for support to oppose the bill.

You know what time it is.

Last month the CSAC had comments on the legislation with many chiming in opposing it. The CSAC decided at the time to create a subcommittee to evaluate the law and come back in December. But, it appears that they would like to revisit.

CSAC decided to not recommend support (after trying to do so before the public comment phase)

After the comments, they decided to create a subcommittee to investigate the bill more before making a decision which would likely be in December. https://t.co/vN4uMuc65n

Payout Perspective:

Interesting that the Commission comes back a month later after stating it would create a committee to look at the proposed law. According to the agenda, there is a possibility that the Commission may vote on supporting the bill which may be law by next year.

@Josh_HokitUFC You’re gonna cry you were cancelled by the left for “free speech”. And then you’ll post 200 times a day on Twitter until fox and friends invites you on to “tell your story”. And after that you’ll run for congress and your campaign will be centered on white grievance.

This is

Real question. Was this announced or is there an intern somewhere that is taking note of ever fighter’s follow and unfollow?

Ian Garry unfollowed PFL fighter Alexei Pergande after a clip resurfaced of him taking down Garry in sparring:

"Ian Garry is lying about me... I'm not sure why he made up a lie [about me filming him without permission]."
