Dana White announced the main event for UFC’s debut in Qatar later this year. The card will be headlined by Arman Tsarukyan against Dan Hooker in a lightweight showdown. Also, Belal Muhammad takes on Ian Machado Garry in a battle of welterweights.
The event takes place November 22nd.
White announced the fights on his Instagram Live feed on Wednesday.

Is it just a coincidence that the fight announcement occur on the same day that President Trump announced an Executive Order stating that the United States would protect Qatar from any attack. Recently, Israel had launched an attack in Qatar against Hamas leaders.
Payout Perspective:
While the two items may not be related, it’s clear that the UFC is making measures to extend its brand overseas and the middle east looks to be one of its primary targets. While it was just in Perth, Australia last weekend, it suffered from poor ticket sales which caused the company to lower prices. But, the card announcements reflect the fact that the company is making an effort to build up the region with interest in the UFC>
