The UFC held an event in Shanghai, China on Saturday and handed out four Performance Bonuses.
Johnny Walker earned his $50K bonus with an upset victory over China’s Zhang Minyang in the second round of the main event. Walker used leg kicks to cause the Zhang to crumple which was the beginning of the end and stunned the Shangai crowd.
Kyle Daukaus scored a quick KO of Michel Pereira in just 43 seconds in the first round to earn his $50K bonus.
Charles Johnson earned his bonus with a KO victory over Lone’er Kavanagh. According to Ariel Helwani, Johnson had no money and had to borrow money from his manager with a baby on the way. Another reason why, one should not be an MMA fighter.
