Jake Paul to face Tank Davis in exhibition on Netflix

August 20, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Ring Magazine reports that Jake Paul will take on Tank Davis in an exhibition on Netflix November 15th. The unlikely exhibition pits Paul who last fought at 200 pounds while Davis is the champion at 135 pounds.

This appears to be a pivot to the exhibition after talks with Paul fighting heavyweight Anthony Joshua fell apart per Mike Coppinger.

Notably, Gervonta Davis was arrested last month on suspicion of domestic violence in Miami. It was not the first time he’s been detained for such an offense. According to the news report, he allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend in front of her house on Father’s Day.

Will this fight sell? Or, does it seem like a hasty Plan B. It would seem that there would have to be a lot of more entertainment during this event to get people interested.

Notably, Logan Paul boxed Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in an event in June 2021 which received some notoriety.
