After PFL, Patchy Mix inserted into UFC 316

May 18, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Former Bellator Bantamweight Patchy Mix has signed with the UFC and will face Mario Bautista on June 7th at UFC 316.

Mix was released by the PFL on May 13th. He was signed by the UFC the next day.

It is likely that Mix negotiated or requested his release from the PFL in order to fight with the UFC. There have been grumblings by former Bellator fighters that the PFL has not used them. Mix was one of the fighters to express his discontent.

Recently, the UFC signed Patricio Pitbull Friere who debuted in April at UFC 314. Pitbull lost to Yair Rodriguez.

The signing of Mix puts him in the title picture automatically as he is on the same card as the division’s champ Merab Dvalishvili as he defends the title against former champ Sean O’Malley.
