UFC Seattle attendance, gate, and bonuses

UFC Fight night 252 took place on Saturday night from Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. After 12 years, the UFC returned to Seattle.

Fans were eager for the promotion to come back to the Northwest as people came early for the prelims and the Arena was full by the start of the main card. The event was the highest grossing Fight Night event in North American history according to the UFC.

The event drew 18,267 for a gate of $3,841,751.

Bonuses went to Jean Silva and Ricky Simon. The Fight of the Night went to Alonzo Menifield and Julius Walker. Each received $50K.

The main event featured Song Yadong and Henry Cejudo. Yadong won via technical decision after Cejudo was unable to continue after being poked in the eye. Prior to the stoppage, Cejudo had taken the full 5 minutes of injury time after the poke. But, he could not continue.
