UFC 312 attendance, gate and bonuses

February 9, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 312 took place Sunday morning in Sydney, Australia.

Dana White announced the attendance in the post-fight press conference. The event was a sellout with 18,253 in attendance and a $7.7 million gate.

The bonuses went to Quillan Salkild who kicked off the night as he knocked out Anshul Jubli in the first 20 seconds of the fight. Salkild scored the second-fastest lightweight debut knockout in the UFC.

In the second fight of the night, Rong Zhu and Kody Steele put on a show for the fans that decided to watch the early Prelims. The fighters exchanged haymakers in the first round with each almost getting floored. But Zhu started to win a lot more of the exchanges in rounds 2 and 3. Both earned $50K.

The debuting Tallison Teixeira served notice as it took him 35 seconds to end the night for UFC veteran Justin Tafa.
