UFC Vegas 101 bonus winners

January 12, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The first UFC event of 2025 took place on Saturday night at The Apex in Las Vegas. There were three Performance Bonus winners which included headliner Mackenzie Dern.

Dern submitted Amanda Ribas in the 3rd round of their fight. Dern avenged a 2019 loss to Ribas. It was her 6th career bonus.

Roman Kopylov earned a $50K bonus as he gets the last second TKO in the third round against Chris Curtis. Kopylov head kick staggered Curtis and the referee stopped the fight with one second left in the fight.

Cesar Almeida earned his 2nd career bonus with a KO of Abdul Razak Alhassan in the first round. The fight was back and forth with Alhassan winning most of the exchanges. But an innocuous left hand to Alhassan floored him for the stoppage.

It seems that TKO has really screwed up WWE/Wrestlemania with ads and celebs and getting away from the heart of pro wrestling - and talented performers are paying the price.
