December 15, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC Tampa took place on Saturday night and was the last event of the year for the promotion. Four fighters received the $50K bonuses.

Cub Swanson earned a Fight of the Night bonus with his KO of Billy Quarantillo. The Fight was a back-and-forth fight which saw Quarantillo having his moments during the fight. But it was Swanson that used a left hook and right hand to stop Quarantillo.

Dustin Jacoby earned a $50K bonus with a 3rd Round KO of Vitor Petrino. The veteran Michael Johnson returned to the Octagon with a second round KO of Ottman Azaitar.

The feature main event saw Joaquin Buckley dominate Colby Covington with the doctor’s calling an end to the fight after the third round.

It was announced at the post-fight press conference that the event drew 18,625 for a gate of $3,060,000.
