Wang Cong gets $50K thanks to Dana White

UFC on ESPN 62 took place on Saturday night from The Apex. While the bonuses were announced on that night, Cong was left off the list.

White, who was not in attendance Saturday night, sent a social media message that Cong would receive $50K for her first round KO of Victoria Leonardo on Saturday.

Cong, dubs herself as “The Joker” and her fight style and personality may have her on the fast-track in the women’s flyweight division. It has been promoted that she does have a win over Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko in kickboxing, so that there’s that.

But, when you get the attention of the boss, it has to be a good thing and Cong could be someone the promotion would want to move up quickly.
