Box Office Report: Crawford-Madrimov

Better later than never as MMA Payout has received the Box Office Report from the California State Athletic Commission.

According to the filing with the state agency, the total gate was $8,423,021. with an attendance figure of 21,799. Per the report, 17,799 were sold which would infer that 4,000 tickets were comped.

Of note, 180 tickets priced at $7,500 were purchased. The most tickets sold were at the $200 level with 4,278 sold for $855,600. Second most were the $500 level – 2,333 for $1,166,500. It was also the level with most comped tickets – 1,116.

Although he was paid more, the headliner, Terence Crawford earned a reported $2.5 million for his win over Israil Madrimov who earned $749,480. The net pay for the overall fight card purse was $9,082,110.
