The UFC event at The Sphere this September 14th went on sale Monday and the prices were very high. The cheapest available ticket according to an article from the Sports Business Journal was $3,000 after fees. The most expensive ticket went for $15,007.50.
The main event for the show will be a bantamweight title fight with Sean O’Malley taking on Merab Dvalishvili. Also Alexo Grasso defending her flyweight title against Valentina Shevchenko.
This will be the first time that the UFC will have a title sponsor as Riyadh Season will be the title sponsor for the event. It is not known if UFC 306 will be attached to this particular event or if there will be a recalibration of event numbers.
UFC Noche will be the first athletic event to be held inside The Sphere. In July, the NHL Draft took place inside and last November F1 Las Vegas used the outside Exosphere.
Despite the hefty price tag on tickets and Canelo Alvarez fighting across town on the same night, its a lock that the event will be a sell out.
