Dana White to speak prior to Trump at RNC Convention

July 12, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC head Dana White will once again be speaking at the Republican National Convention. This time, he will be introducing Trump at the RNC Convention to accept the nomination according to the Wall Street Journal.

Trump has made his own cameos during UFC PPVs. Sometimes, the camera has been on him more than the featured fighters. White has been a staunch supporter of Trump for years and while he claims the UFC is apolitical, it has made a right hand tilt as one of the only sports that favors conservatives.

White has made speeches at the Republican National Convention in the past and has made stops on various podcasts that tilt right. White has made it a point to state that all of the UFC athletes may have freedom of speech to say whatever they want which usually gives them the ability to use homophobic and racial slurs with no fear of being reprimanded.

White, himself, was able to slip away from responsibility when a TMZ video caught him slap his wife after being slapped. He labeled himself as someone that has slapped his wife and chose that as his punishment without any other repercussions from the promotion or Endeavor (aside form PowerSlap being postponed a week on TBS).

With White introducing Trump at the Convention one has to wonder if the UFC and PowerSlap head has aspirations for his own run at the U.S. Presidency in 2028 or beyond.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
