TKO Group invests in EverPass

July 2, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Deadline reports that the TKO Group has invested in EverPass Media, the company distributes live sports and entertainments to bars and restaurants.

The news accompanies the announcement that EverPass acquired UPshow which is an on-premise entertainment and performance marketing platform. The acquisition of both will allow businesses to stream NFL Sunday Ticket for the first time. The two companies currently show Peacock Sports Pass which includes channels such as the Big Ten Football and Basketball and the Premier League.

The investment by TKO Group reflects that it will be utilizing the companies in streaming WWE and UFC events in the future. The acquisition of the vertical infers entry into the market and that it will not have to partner with others when selling its package to commercial businesses. TKO will now be able to utilize the companies to negotiate with bars, restaurants, health clubs, etc. to show sports and entertainment which will likely include UFC and/or WWE content in the future.
