UFC 303 bonuses

June 30, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC 303 took place on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Despite offering up a second Fight of the Night for the event, the company gave out just one but six performance bonuses.

The Fight of the Night went to Andre Fili and Cub Swanson. It was Fili that came out with the decision.

The Performance Bonuses went to Payton Talbott for his 19 second KO of Yani Ghemmouri, the second fastest in UFC bantamweight history. Joe Pyfer earned a $50K Performance Bonus with his stoppage in round 1 of Marc-Andre Barriault. Macy Chiasson earned her bonus over a doctor stoppage of Mayra Bueno Silva. Chiasson opened up a deep gash on the forehead of Bueno Silva and after consulting with the ringside physician the ref stopped the fight in round 2.

Finally, Alex Pereira earned his $50K bonus with a spectacular switch kick to end his fight with Jiri Prochazka early in round 2. His win and decimation of Prochazka puts him in the realm of best pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC and probably the sport.

Wait, is this for real? Trump spent $60 million of our taxpayer funds to host a UFC fight and then is selling UFC coin to line his family’s pockets. The Trump corruption swamp is a mile deep.
