UFC on ABC 6 bonuses

June 23, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ABC 6 took place for the first time ever in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company gave out four performance bonuses for the night.

Robert Whittaker returned to the Octagon and showed he still had it with a vicious uppercut that spelled the end for Ikram Aliskerov in the very first round.

Despite a fence grab, Shara Magomedov earned a performance bonus with his KO of Antonio Trocoli. Although he lost, Dana White indicated in the post-fight press conference that Trocoli would receive something extra for his ability to get to Saudi Arabia in one day, make weight and fight. He was a last minute replacement for Joilton Lutterbach. Trocoli did receive show and win money last week after Ikram Aliskerov pulled out of their fight and, ironically, was a last minute replacement to fight Robert Whittaker.

Volkan Oezdemir received a $50K bonus for his KO of Johnny Walker in the very first round for the former challenger to the light heavyweight title.

Felipe Lima earned a performance bonus with his third round RNC of Muhammad Naimov. Lima took the fight on just one week’s notice and received one of the $50K bonuses.
