Activision signs deal with TKO Group for UFC, WWE

June 21, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Activision signed a sponsorship agreement with TKO Group for it to advertise with the UFC and WWE. The deal highlights the launch of the Call of Duty Mobile game.

It is a short-term deal between the companies for the latest iteration of Call of Duty which started last week at the WWE’s Premium Live Event, Clash at the Castle which aired on the Peacock Network and during last weekend’s Fight Night at the Apex. It continues with UFC 303 next weekend an episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. The deal includes TV signage, broadcast integrations and a mention by UFC in-ring announcer Bruce Buffer.

Payout Perspective:

The deal highlights one of the reasons the combination of UFC and WWE makes sense. Companies like Activision wanting to promote its product to its core of young fans is right up the alley for the UFC and WWE where many watch. We can see more of this in the future when other big mobile games debut.
